Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I upgrade in the middle of a billing period?: You switch right away. We charge one full period of the new plan minus the unused part of your current one, and your billing date restarts from the day you upgrade. For example, moving from Plus to Pro halfway through a month costs $35 − $6 = $29.
What if I downgrade or cancel?: You keep your current plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then the change takes effect. No partial refunds.
What happens to my memories if I go over the Free limits?: Nothing is deleted. Everything you saved stays available to view, search and export. You just can't add more memories or spaces until you're back under the limit or upgrade.
How do voice and audio minutes work?: All audio uses one shared monthly allowance per plan: audio uploads, meeting recordings, live dictation, and real-time meeting captions. There is also a generous 180-minute daily safety ceiling that easily fits multiple long meetings.
What is the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server?: Every plan includes access to our hosted MCP server. This lets AI coding assistants like Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and Windsurf query and save to your Everstash knowledge vault in real time, giving them continuous long-term memory.
What happens when free access from a promo code ends?: If you've added a payment card, the plan renews at the regular price. If not, your account safely transitions to Free and keeps everything you previously saved.
